Light makes happy — at any age
For elderly and visually impaired people, well-lit rooms are particularly important. This was definitely not the case in the Competence Centre for the Elderly in Hitzkirch before the renovation. The management set itself the goal of complying with the new guidelines of the Swiss Lighting Society for lighting suitable for the elderly and visually impaired, thus giving the residents a sense of security and creating a pleasant atmosphere. In concrete terms, this means 300 lux in the corridors during the day, 750 lux in the reading area and a high proportion of indirect light in the common rooms.
Demanded, done! Together with Otto Fischer AG, who managed the project, we developed a lighting concept that met all the requirements. The result: everyone who lives or works in Chrüzmatt is happy with the new, friendly lighting.

Better together — also in the lighting industry
The well-being of people is close to our hearts and we contribute to this with our intelligent and energy-efficient lighting solutions.
We also value the cooperation with other lighting experts, with whom we work hand in hand to ensure optimal lighting. In good cooperation we use synergies and learn from each other, which is very valuable for us.
»The overall concept and the detailed lighting design that we created together with nevalux AG convinced the Chrüzmatt managers that a high-quality installation was worthwhile. With the new, intelligent lighting, the gloomy corridors have become brighter and friendlier.«Jürg Horath, Specialist planner at Otto Fischer AG
Quality of light = quality of life
Older people are particularly dependent on good light. For example, to read books and to be able to move around safely.
Individual solutions
We do not pull ready-made solutions out of a drawer. Every building is different. Just like the customer and their requirements.
Less power consumption
With constant light control and motion detectors, only as much artificial light is used as necessary. This saves energy — day and night.
Swiss made
Do you rely on high-quality luminaires made in Switzerland? We have the appropriate products on offer.
Intelligent networking
Thanks to integrated radio communication, an intelligent network with several luminaires can be set up very easily.
Flexible luminous intensity
The brightness of the main and ambient light can be variably adjusted so that the light in the underground car park corresponds to the wishes of the users.
Convenient commissioning
The luminaires can be easily parameterised and put into operation. No complex system administration is required.

Ayana and Aluna — a strong team
It’s the combination that makes the difference. In retirement and care centres, but also in schools, offices or traffic zones, the two luminaires can be perfectly combined.
Ayana is a simple acrylic glass luminaire available in three different sizes. The fabric luminaire Aluna, also available in three sizes, is more versatile than any other. It is available as a pendant and ceiling light and the fabric colour can be individually selected. Both luminaires have constant light control and presence detection and are also available with adjustable light colour (Tunable White) to emulate the natural course of daylight.
Now it’s time to work together.
I am Jürg Artho. Let’s talk in person.
I look forward to your call.
