Anyone planning a lighting refur­bishment with us need not worry about implementation.

Two huge factory halls, 11 metres high — and insuf­fi­ciently lit. The outdated spot lighting based on sodium vapour was outdated. But for the production of high-quality laser welding systems, only the best light is good enough.
We presented ANDRITZ Soutec AG with a complete package. In addition to modern and energy-effi­cient spot­lights, presence detectors with brightness sensors and a lighting control system for constant light regu­lation, we also took care of the entire “all-round”. Profes­sional disposal of the lumi­naire housings and lamps weighing tons, for example: no problem. Lifting platform for the instal­lation: to be organised. Appli­cation for subsidies: already done!

A lighting refur­bishment is worth­while. On several levels:

Solution

Slowly but surely, the lights went out in the work­shops. Replacement lights were no longer available. There was only one way to go: replace the entire lighting.
We equipped the two halls with 33 LED high bay lumi­naires each at a lumi­naire level of 11 metres. The lumi­naires were installed along the existing mounting rail without any struc­tural measures. Main­te­nance was reduced to a minimum, as was energy consumption. This was reduced by up to 45% because the spot­lights have a signif­i­cantly lower consumption. Of course, this is also because the motion detectors switch off the lighting in hall zones without activity and switch it on again imme­di­ately when required. In addition, the constant light can be regu­lated with the nevalux lighting control solution.
That the nevalux lighting solution is a success was shown by the reac­tions of the employees already on day 1 of implementation.
