Intel­ligent, flexible light

Triple hall — multiple savings

High energy costs and extensive main­te­nance work are history in the Farlifang gymnasium. Since the FL tubes with elec­tronic ballasts had to make way for LED inserts, costs and effort have been massively reduced. On the other hand, the lighting quality and — thanks to a sophis­ti­cated control tech­nology — the flex­i­bility have increased. The lighting in all three halls can be indi­vid­ually controlled and the lights go out auto­mat­i­cally in the evening after the last somer­sault has been completed.

Solution

The Farlifang Sports hall is perma­nently occupied on weekdays from 7 am to 10 pm. School classes and clubs are in atten­dance. The light switch, on the other hand, is often forgotten at the end of the day. If the care­taker hadn’t taken care of it on his evening rounds, the hall would often have been lit 24/7. An automation of the light switching provided a remedy. With a DALI control system, the light is dimmed according to the amount of daylight, and thanks to the motion sensors, it switches off auto­mat­i­cally after sporting activ­ities or cultural events. It was important to the client that the indi­vidual halls could still be controlled manually, which is not a problem.
By the way: the refur­bishment with the 96 double-flame nevalux LED inserts was a quick job. The lumi­naire inserts could be inserted into the existing recessed housings with a magnetic fastening. It was that simple. And so efficient!

Flex­i­bility is not only required in Sports halls. Also in the planning and imple­men­tation of a lighting refur­bishment. What does the customer want? What is feasible and where are far better solu­tions possible than orig­i­nally thought by the customer? Only when we have achieved the optimum for the customer in the planning do we get down to the implementation.

As of 24 August 2023, linear T5 and T8 fluo­rescent tubes will be phased out. A change is urgently needed.

With the 230 V connection power, which is tapped with three or five wires depending on the dimming requirement, you install quickly and successfully.

Wherever possible, we use existing lumi­naire housings. In gymna­siums, the ball protection can also be taken over.

The para­me­ter­i­sation of the lighting system is carried out by our specialists at the end of the instal­lation work.
