The multi-storey car park in the centre of Oberengstringen is open day and night. Accord­ingly, perfect lighting must be guaranteed.
The FL lights no longer met this requirement, the light was dull and driving into the car park was no fun.
It’s a good thing that there are intel­ligent lighting solu­tions. The robust Swiss-made imani connect lights accompany you on your journey and reliably illu­minate the selected parking space. This makes parking in the under­ground car park fun!

Solution

The FL lumi­naires had to go and the constant switching to other time programmes, e.g. Sunday mode, had to be aban­doned. Energy-saving, intel­ligent lumi­naires and reliable emer­gency lighting were needed, but the existing trunking instal­lation had to be utilised.
We proposed a compre­hensive solution to the munic­i­pality with our imani connect lumi­naires, a sensor-based lumi­naire that enables flexible grouping.
Since the lighting refur­bishment, the passageway lighting has shown car park users the way. The indi­vidual parking spaces form separate groups. The ambient light reduced to 10% (flexibly adjustable) and only comes on when a car turns into a free parking space. This guar­antees safety and well-being.
The good co-oper­ation with the munic­i­pality, the planning office Stöcklin und Partner, Zurich and the elec­trical instal­lation team from Haupt und Studer in Schlieren defi­nitely contributed to the success of the project.

When ideas take shape

A lumi­naire that fits into existing lumi­naire mounting profiles, saves massive amounts of elec­tricity thanks to constant light control and presence detection and allows flexible lighting groups thanks to networking?
That was the vision. The result is called nevalux imani connect, a lumi­naire that was developed in Switzerland and is manu­fac­tured here.
The energy-saving potential is astounding: compared to conven­tional FL lighting, up to 95% elec­tricity can be saved.
